For this project, I was given the task to create a book cover but there is a twist. The title, the image, and fact were randomly chosen. The random image is the woman, the random title is “CP Lacertae”, and the random fact was “Elephants are the only mammals that can’t jump.”.
I really enjoyed creating this book cover using a randomized method. It’s much more interesting to me when given specific elements and have to work with them. I find it more difficult to create when I have complete freedom because I either come up with too many ideas or none at all depending on the subject. I kind of felt that I changed the image of the woman into a powerful intergalactic entity. This has definitely made me consider using random generators when I’m having a tough time thinking of ideas.
